DIY Spring Roundup- 5 Easy Ideas To Make With Vinyl or HTV

Spring is just around the corner and with each new season comes new opportunities to get creative! Today I’m sharing with you 5 easy Spring crafts you can create using either adhesive vinyl or heat transfer vinyl plus a cutting machine such as the Cricut Maker.

Spring Chalkboard Sign

Using adhesive vinyl you can quickly transform a plain chalkboard into a cheery spring sign. I used Permanent Adhesive Vinyl and this cut file to create the sign above. Expressions also carries a fantastic gridded transfer tape that makes it super simple to line up designs along straight edges.

Easter Bunny Treat Plate

This Easter Bunny treat plate is perfect for kids. What better way to get them excited for Easter morning than leaving carrots out for the bunny? You can find the free cut file used above here.

*Adhesive vinyl applies nicely to glass dishes but keep in mind it should be used for decorative purposes only.

Personalized Easter Bucket

Personalized Easter buckets are always a favorite. In just a few minutes you can take a $5 metal pail from boring to adorable. Easter T-Shirt Idea

Get into the Easter spirit with this “bunny babe” t-shirt. Pair it with jeans and you have the perfect casual outfit for all of those school Easter parties. I kept it simple with flocked white HTV but Expressions has more colors to choose from! You can find the SVG used above here.

Monogrammed Hair Ribbon

A little heat transfer vinyl goes a long way with this simple project. I used smooth htv to create a monogram and simply applied it to a pre-made ribbon with a household iron. You could also used glitter htv for a little extra sparkle!
