Back To School Ideas For All Ages
It’s officially August! That means kiddos all over the country are preparing for the big day–the first day of school! I can still feel those first day butterflies that I would get every year when it was time to walk through those doors and meet a whole new group of teachers and students. Now that I’m a mom, I get those same butterflies when my kids leave for their first day.
So, to distract myself from the inevitable, I’m rounding up some super cute back-to-school crafts for kids of all ages!

I hate my Cricut. Absolutely hate it. I desperately want to switch but I have invested so much time into my designs that are saved in Design Space. But Design Space is a train wreck, nothing every works right. I went through a phase where I was emailing tech support 6-7 times per day because of all the issues I’ve had. I’ve thrown away literally hundreds of dollars in vinyl at this point due to Cricut deciding to a cut a different mat than the one I selected. Plus the software is so much more limited than Silhouette (I’ve downloaded it to try out).

Aw man, I’m sorry you hate it! I totally get the frustration. I was a Silhouette user for 3 years and when I switched to Cricut it was difficult to re-learn everything. I can honestly say though, I have never had a single issue with Design Space. I’ve heard so many complaints but have never experienced any myself.Silhouette Studio is a little more advanced but it isn’t nearly as user-friendly as DS.
