Media Monday- Color Palette Inspiration

Happy Media Monday! I don’t know about you but I’m a sucker for a good color palette. One of my favorite things to do when I have free time is to pull one of my images into procreate and carefully curate a color palette using colors from the photo. I know, it’s not a novel idea. It’s been a thing for a while but I still love it.

This color palette comes from one of my favorite Valentine’s Day inspired photos, way back when I used to sublimate on mugs! I love the cozy, girly vibes of this photo and the color palette turned out super cute!

If you aren’t familiar with color palettes or you just have no idea what to do with them, here are some ideas:

Import them into procreate and create swatches.
Open them in Illustrator and use the eyedropper to apply a cohesive color scheme to a design.
Use the colors in a logo or brand palette.
