Golden Hour Art Market is an event branding project for a handmade market centered on local makers, creative goods, and community gathering. The visual identity was designed to feel whimsical, approachable, and full of personality, using illustrated elements and a soft, handcrafted style to reflect the spirit of the event. The goal was to create a cohesive promotional system that captured the market’s creative atmosphere while making the event feel inviting, memorable, and easy to recognize.

The poster was designed to solve the challenge of promoting the event in a way that felt informative without losing its charm. Rather than relying on a more formal or polished event style, the design uses hand-drawn illustrations, playful typography, and layered visual details to communicate the market’s handmade, community-driven personality. This approach helps the event stand out while immediately signaling that the experience is creative, friendly, and locally inspired.

Once the visual identity was established, it was extended into a digital format to show how the brand could support event promotion and participation online. The website application carries over the same warm, handcrafted tone while organizing information in a clearer, more functional way. This helped translate the personality of the brand into a space that could promote the market, share event details, and support vendor interest in a way that still felt visually consistent.

Additional print materials expanded the system beyond the main event poster and helped demonstrate how the identity could work across multiple touchpoints. Directional and informational pieces, such as food truck signage and event maps, were designed to stay consistent with the brand while serving practical communication needs. By applying the same typography, illustrations, and color palette throughout, the system remains cohesive while still allowing each piece to serve a distinct purpose.

Together, these materials demonstrate how a thoughtful identity system can shape the way an event is perceived before it even begins.
