Heyyy crafty babes! If you’ve been following along for a while you already know I’m a sucker for a good mug. The wittier the better. Andddd, when I can’t find a mug that describes my feelings with precisionlike accuracy, I make my own. Benefits of being a crafty sista. 🙂

As a side note, I’m often asked what vinyl I use for my mugs and if it lasts etc etc. I have always used Oracal 651 Permanant Outdoor Adhesive Vinyl and I kid you not, the stuff is like duct tape. As long as you don’t sit there and pick the letters off you’ll be just fine.

Hi there, I love your blog. I’m a newbie to crafting but I just love it. Very willing learn. I like doing the mats but having a hard time getting the words straight. Made a couple of crooked mats. 🙁
Do you have any tips on how I can get the words to line up straight?

oh, that’s a bummer! When you place your stencil down, use a tape measure or a ruler to measure the distance from the top of the first letter to the top of the mat then measure the distance from the top of the last letter to the top of the mat. If that distance is the same then you should be good.
